The Power of Hope

In the Studio Room April 4th - 27th

Sponsored by Winter Garden Art Association and St. Luke’s United Methodist Church

An exhibit of introspective children’s art designed to raise awareness and inspire action for child abuse prevention. Created by children ages 10 – 16, the art provides an intimate glimpse into their world as they struggle to overcome challenges, harness the power of hope, and navigate the world around them. The projects were designed to inspire personal growth, raise self-esteem, and provide opportunities for each child to express what makes them truly unique.

All art was created under the direction of Renée Schneider, founder of ArtWorks-Orlando with funding provided by the Winter Garden Art Association and St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. Over sixty children from five area organizations participated. The children’s art will also be exhibited at other prominent Central Florida locations as part of Paint Orlando Blue, a child abuse prevention campaign sponsored by the Howard Phillips Center for Children and Families.
