November/December 2105-Noreen Coup
French-American, Contemporary Impressionist Oil Painter, Noreen Coup brings over 30 years of professional architecture and interior design to her paintings. A graduate of Woodbury University in Los Angeles, with a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design, she has work for the Walt Disney Co., Universal Studios, Marriott and The Ritz-Carlton Club managing design and construction project globally.
While living in Paris in 2000, she was inspired by the “City of Lights” to begin painting, studying at the WICE Academy in Paris. Noreen continued her art education studying with notable artists including Don Sondag Jr., Sally Shisler, Larry Moore, Ray and Peggi Kroll-Roberts, Leslie Saeta and Timothy Horn, just to name a few.
She is a Board Member of the Winter Garden Art Association and a Member of the Women Painters of the Southeast. Her work is currently exhibited in at Carre d’Artistes Gallery Greenwich Village, New York and monthly at 127 SoBo Art Center in Winter Garden, FL.
Noreen paints mostly with palette knife creating dimensional landscapes, seascapes and impressionist portraits that capture the light and colors of the day.
