Joe Warren retired from Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) on December 27, 2013 after a 23 year career. He is currently pursuing his practice of painting and is consulting as an artist and designer.

He joined WDI as a licensed interior designer in 1990 and navigated to the Creative Department a year and a half later due to his proven ability in art and illustration. As a member of the Creative Department, Joe produced concept artwork to illustrate a variety of ideas for themed environments and assisted project teams responsible for developing Disney theme parks, attractions, resorts and the Disney Cruise Ships. A skilled artist, he also created artwork for reproduction, and many of his creations are on display throughout the Disney theme parks and resorts. Joe’s last project before retiring from WDI was painting a portrait of Walt Disney for Disney’s Golden Oak Resort Club House.
