Join SoBo Gallery and Duke Energy for an exciting Open Chalk Techniques Workshop designed for kids, young adults, and families! Learn sidewalk chalk techniques and prepare for potential participation in the “Chalkin’ Festival” during Spring Fever in the Garden.

Details:

“How-to” classes begin every 30 minutes, followed by hands-on practice with coaching.

Participants MUST bring a nature-themed drawing, idea, or photo for inspiration.

Basic chalk provided for practice; bring chalk or chalk pastels for your design if needed.

Children MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Instructor: Certified Art Educator Lenore Eastham, who has guided many first-place prize winners in the Elementary Group category.

Cost: $5 per person
