Workshop – Spoon Bracelet and Ring Jewelry

Learn the art of repurposing beautiful vintage silverware into wearable art jewelry from Master Jewelry Artists Jan and Keith Stephens. In this class you will make a gorgeous spoon bracelet and a traditional bypass spoon ring. Students will learn a variety of techniques that may include how to bend, polish, buff, set stones, texturize metal, stamp, patina, make cold connections and do simple wire work. In no time at all you will be making professional looking jewelry that you will be very proud of.

KIT COST: $35 per student. The instructors will have kits that you will need to purchase directly from them on the day of the workshop. Your kit will include all of the materials for all the projects. The kit cost will cover the cost of all supplies for the workshop projects, including specific materials such as vintage silverware, wire, cabochons, beads, vintage costume jewelry pieces, findings, consumables, use of tools and all workshop handouts.

Students may need to use glasses or other vision magnification so they can see fine detail. Additional materials and tools can be purchased at fair market prices at the end of class for completing additional projects at home.
