Workshop – Mask Making with Worbla Thermoplastics


Introduction to Worbla and Mask Making

Worbla is a Thermoplastic. When it is heated with a heat gun it becomes very flexible and can be molded, shaped and sculpted. The most common use is for costume designs and many major motion pictures have used Worbla, including Star Wars.

Make a necklace, or face mask for the fundraiser coming up!.  Foam masks will be provided. You can cover them in Worbla and form it to your face.  It will be warm, not hot.  You can decorate the mask using any materials you like

Bring jewels to attach or paint the mask. The instructor will have some additional items to embellish the masks, including feathers and gems. 

Everyone will still learn how to make the a necklace, The instructor will demonstrate the process and give it away in class. 

Space is limited to 6, so sign up early.

Fee: $120 members/$130 non-members
