Workshop – Macrame Art

Macrame Wall Hanging Workshop

Saturday, March 27, 12:00 to 3:00 pm

Artist Alyssa Foxson

Macramé is a form of textile that uses knotting techniques and comes from the 13th century weavers’ word for “fringe”. This fiber art form was popular in the 60s and 70s and now it’s back and as popular as ever. Join local fiber artist Alyssa Foxson, and embrace your inner boho goddess. Learn all the basic macramé knots needed to make a macramé wall hanging and beyond. All supplies are included and you will leave this workshop with a beautiful wall hanging ready for display.
All skill levels welcome.
All materials provided.
