Encaustic Wax Art

In this workshop Jann will guide you in creating an Encaustic abstract on an 8 x 11 1/2 inch card using the encaustic iron, a hairdryer, and a heat gun. The finished piece will then be coated with a layer of golden shellac. The result is a gorgeous “burst bubble” effect on top of the wax. This is a new encaustic art technique which you will love.

Space is limited to 10 students.
Supplies are provided. Everyone bring an apron. Also bring a hairdryer and a heat gun if you have these.
Fee: $60 members/$80 non-members
