Modern Art Madness is back! Adrienne’s series last year was so popular, she has decided to develop Volume 2 as a three-part follow-up to Modern Art Madness! This volume will explore the work of Modern Artists who were not included in the first series. Artists being discussed in this new series include Robert Rauscheberg, Jean-Michel Basqiuat, Keith Haring and the Russian Avant-Garde.
Part 1 will be all about the Russian Avant Garde. These artists are often overlooked in surveys of Modern Art. Kandinsky and Chagall get a lot of attention because they emigrated to Germany and France respectively. Also included in this first session will be Malevich and Goncharova and the “-isms” that come out of Russia, like Suprematism and Constructivism.
