What: Print Making Workshop

We will be making card-sized prints on different types of paper, exploring techniques for cutting the foam blocks, layering inks and using stencils to create patterns as well. We will be doing a lot of printing, so everyone should leave with several finished prints and all the knowledge needed to make more at home. This type of printing is versatile and inexpensive, requiring very few tools or special skills.
Artist Bronwyn Merritt is a master Printmaker specializing in relief (linoleum and wood block) prints, and teaches many techniques in print, book and paper arts. Her work is now up in SOBO Gallery in a group show with the Central Florida Printmakers.

If you have simple line drawings 5″X7″ or smaller, that you would like to try to reproduce in print form, bring those. Also Any inspirational images, patterns or photos that you think will help you make some good images may be brought (and I will provide some as well).
