DESCRIPTION:
Students will learn basic techniques of the all a prima (direct) method of applying oil paint.
In addition to paint application and brushwork ,they will learn how to use painting knives (palette knives)
Color mixing using a primary hue palate as they execute their painting from a still life / landscape.
Student will complete one study each week.
Instruction will focus on teaching each student to value and intensity of subject matter.
There will be many demonstrations of techniques along with visual presentations, and critiques of their work as they progress.
