140 lb Arches watercolor paper Pad- 11” x 14” but no smaller.
A Palette- paper palette or a plastic tray palette (a butcher’s pan is good too)
1” or 2” Synthetic soft brush used for watercolor
A Filbert and a round brush #6-8
A board and painter’s tape
Sketch book, with pencil and eraser
Jar or plastic bottle for holding water
Paper towels or old rags
TEACHER:
Nicora Gangi was educated at Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York, USA (BFA 1974 and MFA 1976) she was art Professor at the Syracuse University School of Art and Design for 29 years. Gangi has been awarded many Grand Prize and First Place awards and grants. She has been and continues to be published in numerous artist’s books on pastel paintings. She has lectured regionally, nationally and internationally as a visiting artist at Universities, Colleges and Artist’s Guilds. She is represented by Edgewood Gallery, Dewitt, NY and Gangi Studio, FL
