Have you wanted to learn how to use Photoshop as a tool to help you with your art? Join Kim as she goes over the following points to use Photoshop as a design, composition, color, and promotional tool for your work.

  • Enhance photographs to paint from.
  • Size and work on or change composition from a photograph for your painting.
  • Work on images in actual size in Photoshop to test design and composition.
  • Using filters on photos.
  • Learn how to size images for competitions, and posting on blogs and web sites.
  • Learn how to add a watermark or copyright to images.
  • How to best enhance photos of your work for entering competitions and submitting for shows or galleries.

Prerequisite/Skill Level: You must have some experience using Adobe Photoshop. This is not a beginner class to teach you how to use it. You must understand how to create and work with files, layers and be familiar with the tool bar.

List of Supplies:  Lap Top, paper and pen for notes, and a few photo images you would like to work with that you would want to turn into photo reference for paintings.   It is not necessary to bring a lap top but will be helpful to follow along as we do the exercises.
