Workshop – Fine Art with Colored Pencils

Create Fine Art With Colored Pencils

Artist: Mary Beth Lesko

Skill Level: Intermediate beginners

Wednesday, April 12, 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM

If you took Mary Beth Lesko’s Beginning Colored Pencil Workshop, you will definitely want to sign up for this one. Learn and practice more advanced techniques for creating fine art using colored pencils. Students should be able to finish their artwork and we will discuss matting and framing the piece.

“The artwork done in colored pencil is now being accepted by galleries and museums as a respected fine art medium! Many pencil manufacturers are now following lightfast guidelines established by The Colored Pencil Society of America to manufacture pigments that can withstand light and not fade over time. This makes the value of an art piece immeasurable when it hangs in galleries, a museum or in a private home or business.” -MBL

Mary Beth Lesko is a prolific artist and experienced instructor. She has specialized in colored pencil as an art medium for more than 14 years and her work has been shown extensively at galleries, including the SoBo Gallery in Winter Garden.

What People Are Saying About Mary Beth Lesko’s workshop:

Mary Beth is a very skilled and talented artist. I was so appreciative of how well prepared and organized she was to teach an entry workshop. She answered many questions, gave us examples to learn from and she walked around the class making a great effort to help everyone. Since taking her workshop I have enjoyed doing some colored pencil drawings at home. I also ordered the instruction book she highly recommended. I felt her workshop was very productive and educational. Thank You! –KC 1-18-17
