Workshop – Fabric Sculpting

Figurine Fabric Sculpture

Saturday, January 27, 10 am – 2 pm

Artist Regine Dossche

Fabric sculpture allows complete freedom of expression in creating wonderful figurines that have their own individuality and presence. First a wire armature is constructed, ‘mummified’ and then ‘dressed’ and draped with fabric dipped into the fabric hardener. Regine will guide you step by step to transform your armature into a unique sculpture.

Regine is an experienced workshop instructor and works with an environmental friendly polymer, called Powertex. Her workshops are very successful, probably because people are always looking for new materials and techniques. Her workshops are a favorite of several art leagues such as Sarasota, Spring Hill, Melbourne, Fort Pierce just to name a few.

To learn more about the Powertex and see examples of Regine’s work, visit www.powertexcreations.com

Whether you are a beginner or advanced artist, you’ll love this workshop.

All Materials are provided for sitting figurine. $10 fee if students want a base for a standing project, to be paid directly to instructor at time of workshop

Fee: $100 members/$120 non-members
